We have never seen someone who doesn’t like them.
Pan-fried-gyoza is the best food for alcohol, especially for beer.
But this is a very popular menu not only in Izakaya (Japanese bar-restaurant ) but also at home.
Dad eats Pan-fried-gyoza with beer and the children eat them with cooked rice.
Whenever we make Gyoza, we make the flour wrapper not only the fillings.
Because Gyoza is the dish to enjoy both the wrapper and the fillings.
You’ll learn each step that goes into making the delicious Gyoza dumpling in this class.

The general steps are below,
1) Make gyoza wrapper dough
2) Make gyoza fillings
3) Prepare two styles of dipping sauce
4) Roll out the dough and make the wrapper
5) Wrap the fillings
6) Fry gyoza to finish

Make Gyoza Dough

We’ll make the dough of Gyoza wrapper first.
Because letting it rest a little while is needed.

Make Gyoza Fillings

We usually use Nira (Chinese chives) for Gyoza in Japan, but you can substitute green onion and a lot of garlic if you cannot find Nira.

Make Gyoza wrapper

Flour (All-purpose or 8 to 10% protein contents), Water, Starch, Salt, Soy sauce, Oyster sauce (or Miso paste & sugar), White pepper, Vegetable oil, Sesame oil, Rice vinegar, Hot chili oil, Ground pork, Green onion, Cabbage, Garlic, Ginger

Scale or Measuring cups, Tablespoon, Bowl, Food processor,
Small rolling pin, Cutting board, Kitchen knife, Plate for gyoza, Frying pan, Spatula
